Weekend Loop
A one-day club run through Hell's Gate Gorge with a guide, support vehicle, park entry and lunch — leave Nairobi at 6:30, home by 5.
The standing weekend favourite. An early start gets you into the park before the heat, and the gorge ride is the best flat-out fun riding within two hours of Nairobi — wide gravel tracks, wildlife either side, cliffs closing in as you go deeper.
The support vehicle shadows the group the whole way, which means punctures and tired legs are inconveniences rather than day-enders. Lunch is at the lake, and the afternoon is optional wildlife viewing or simply lying down.
Who it suits
Cycling clubs, friend groups and social riders who want the logistics taken care of. The riding is flat but long — comfortable for anyone who rides semi-regularly.
