Business and trading

Spin & Gears is a trading name of Ahtram International Ltd, registered in Kenya. Each branch — Valley Arcade Mall, Shujaa Mall and Gichero Mall in Ruiru — trades under its own county business permit. Registration and licence details are held at our head office and available on request to info@ahtraminternational.com.

Trademarks and brand

The Spin & Gears name, logo, wordmark and visual identity belong to us and may not be used without written permission — including in listings, resale advertising or social media that suggests an association we have not agreed to.

Bicycle, component and apparel brand names, logos and model names shown on this site are the trademarks of their owners. We use them only to identify the products we stock and service. Their appearance here does not imply endorsement of us by them, or of them by us, beyond any dealership or distribution agreement we hold.

Site content

The text, layout, design, photography, illustrations and code of this site are © Ahtram International Ltd unless credited otherwise. You may view, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish or commercially exploit our content, product data or images without our written permission.

Product images and manufacturer material

Some product photography, specifications and descriptions are supplied by manufacturers and distributors and used with their permission under our supply agreements. Copyright in that material stays with them.

Event and community photography

Photographs taken at our rides, events and CSR programmes are used in our own marketing. If you appear in an image and would rather not, email info@ahtraminternational.com describing where it appears and we will remove it.

This site is built with open-source software, used under the respective licences of each project. We are grateful to the people who maintain it. The principal components are:

Full licence texts ship with each package and are published in the projects’ own repositories.

Services we rely on

Paystack — payment processing, operating under PCI-DSS certification. Card details are entered on Paystack systems and are never stored by us.
Cloudinary — storage and delivery of images, video and documents.
Resend — transactional email such as order confirmations, tickets and booking updates.
Railway — application hosting and the PostgreSQL database.
Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery, TLS and protection against attack.
Google Maps Platform — branch maps on the Contact page, subject to Google terms.
Google Analytics — anonymous measurement of how the site is used.

Each provider operates under its own terms and privacy policy.

Data protection

Personal data is handled in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019. How we collect, use, share and retain it — and the rights you hold over it — is set out in the privacy section of our Terms & Conditions.

Reporting a problem

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, email info@ahtraminternational.com with details of the material, where it appears and the right you hold. We will investigate and remove anything infringing.
