Lake Nakuru Park Experience
Ride to the park gate, then swap the bike for a game drive vehicle — rhino sanctuary, flamingos and lions, safely, with lunch at a picnic site.
Lake Nakuru National Park holds one of Kenya’s most important rhino sanctuaries, along with lions, buffalo and the flamingos the lake is famous for. That is exactly why you do not cycle inside it.
So this day is deliberately split: a guided ride from the shop out to the main gate, then a transfer to a game drive vehicle for the park itself. You get the ride and the wildlife without pretending the two mix safely. Lunch is at a picnic site inside the park, and the ride back to the shop closes the loop in the afternoon.
Why the vehicle
Cycling is not permitted around predators and rhino, and we will not book a ride that ignores that. The vehicle is included in the price, not an upsell.
